Here the kids are, along with Maddi, the 3 year old I take care of, enjoying some fun before we start the day. Spring break is over and both the kids are over their sicknesses, with a few sniffles and coughs here and there. Brad's in the midst of mid-terms. Spring is in full-speed here...it's beautiful. I'm taking it all in before it gets hot and humid! Better get back to trying to keep on schedule...

We've been without a computer for a little while, so I'm finally able to write again. We've had so much fun reading the comments from you!! Please continue!
Spring break is here!! Yeah! Brad still has work and school work to do, but we're planning on taking a day trip to Twin Lakes (the camp/conference center the church has). We can go for the day for a minimal or no fee. Take a picnic lunch, enjoy the fresh air, lake... We've heard it's beautiful! Mackenzie will hopefully attend the Day Camp this summer. I'm not quite ready for her to go over night yet. The Thursday of the Day Camp, there's the option to let them spend the night. It will be a good transition. So anyway, this week will be more relaxing...and that is much needed!!
The only super exciting thing I can think of to report is that the Lord totally protected us a couple weeks ago...we were all four in the car coming back from a neighboring town. We were on a little back-country road, kind of windy and a little bit hilly. The speed limit ranges from 40-50 mph. As we drove towards the peak of a small hill we saw TWO cars heading strait at us! There was a car illegally passing and heading strait at us. It was really the closest I have ever been to a head on collision...and this one would have been deadly at the speed we were all going (us, them, the TWO cars they were passing and the car or two behind us). There was no doubt in our minds that the Lord had His hand on all of the cars protecting us all! That moment has run through my mind many times since...I thank the Lord for His protection and faithfulness!
Other than that, we're just plugging away through the days...time seems to be moving fast. We're already half way through another semester! I hope all of you who read this are doing well!Even if you're not a "student" on "spring break", I hope you're able to take some time to relax and enjoy your loved ones!! It is needed!
